Marjory Jean Jones

Marjory Jean Jones, 95, died Friday, December 25, 2015, while a resident of Brookdale Trillium Crossing, an independent living facility in Columbus.

She was born December 10, 1920, in Hoaglin Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of Clifford and Mabel (Coil) Hattery, who both preceded her in death. On April 8, 1950, she married Lloyd Jones, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Jones of Centerville and Deborah (William) Michalec of Dublin.

Two siblings, Paul and Menford Hattery, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Tuesday, December 29, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor Gregory Wack officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert. Friends and family are invited to North Union United Methodist Church following graveside services for a meal and fellowship.

Calling hours are from 10:30 a.m.-noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
