Laura Morris Lininger

Laura Morris Lininger, 91, of Marietta, Georgia, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in Atlanta, Georgia.

She was born August 3, 1924, in Venedocia, the daughter of Robert and Ellen (Roberts) Morris, who both preceded her in death. Her husband, Jack R. Lininger, died August 30, 2002.

Laura is survived by three daughters, Jacquelyn Floyd of Marietta, Georgia, Christa (Paul) Schofield of Williamston, Michigan, and Mary Ellen (Robert) Lenhart of Cordova, Tennessee. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Laura Floyd, Nicholas Floyd, U.S. Army Sergeant Michael (Katherine) Schofield, Jill Marsden, Robert Lenhart, and Andrew Lenhart; and a great-grandchild.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

There will be no calling hours.

The family suggests directing memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Arrangements were handled by Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert.
