Marcia A. Miehls

Marcia A. Miehls, 74, of Delphos, died Tuesday, January 5, 2016, surrounding by her family at Vancrest Health Care Center of Delphos.

She was born June 7, 1941, in Delphos, the son of Carl and Agnes (Reinemeyer) Ditto, who both preceded him in death. On April 23, 1960, in Delphos, she married Kenneth E. Miehls, who died March 16, 2011.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandy (Don Harr) Miehls of Elida; one sister, Glenna Kelly of Holgate; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law, Ruth Ditto of Delphos, Norma Ditto of Landeck, and Louise Pohlman of Ottoville.

A son, Steve Miehls; four brothers, Donald (Irma) Ditto, James Ditto, Francis Ditto, and Dennis Ditto; one sister, Doris (Woodrow) Mullenhour; and a brother-in-law, Franklin Kelly, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 9, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Charles Obinwa officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Delphos.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Friday, January 8, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.
