Alice Ann Schaadt

Alice Ann Schaadt, 73, of Middle Point, died at 9:10 a.m. Sunday, January 10, 2016, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born November 11, 1942, in Van Wert, the daughter of Cloyd and Rhoda (Ritchie) McGinnis, who both preceded her in death. In August 1960, she married Rex W. Schaadt, who survives in Middle Point.

Other survivors include three daughters, Penny Bryce of Texas, Daphne (Lee) Mitchell of Texas, and Melissa Schaadt of Dublin; a brother, Michael (Sheila) McGinnis of Indiana; one sister, Myrna McCracken of Indiana; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A sister, Evelyn Miller, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 17, at Middle Point United Methodist Church, with Pastor Tim Owens and the Rev. Neil Hammons officiating. Private burial services will be held in Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.

There will be no calling hours.
