Gregory W. Caldwell

Gregory W. Caldwell, 56, of Van Wert, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at his residence after an extended illness.

He was born December 8, 1959, in Van Wert, the son of Richard and Sandra (Michael) Caldwell, who both survive in Van Wert. He married Martina A. (Bailey) Caldwell, who also survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include five children, Chad Caldwell of Van Wert, Kyle Caldwell of Van Wert, Miranda Caldwell of Scott, Nikki (Tony) Westgerdes of Coldwater, and Anthony Terhark of Van Wert; three stepchildren, Rhea (Robert) Davis of LaFollette, Tennessee, Michael Bailey of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Deidre (Eric) Owens of South Carolina; two brothers, Kevin (Beverly) Caldwell of Van Wert and Jeremy (Jennifer) Caldwell of Dayton; and many grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 16, at Liberty Baptist Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Jim Burns officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

Preferred memorials: American Lung Association or the family.
