YWCA, VW Cinemas partner on event

The YWCA of Van Wert County and Van Wert Cinemas are partnering on a special event for Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

Van Wert Cinemas will show a human trafficking awareness documentary at 1 p.m. Monday, January 18, while a human trafficking advocate will also speak on the subject. There will also be a free 2 p.m. viewing of a new release movie (to be announced), while concessions will also be available for purchase.

Those planning to attend should bring one of the following items with them to donate for admission to the event: trash bags, laundry soap, or dish soap.
