Frank H. Conn

Frank H. Conn, 88, of Van Wert, died at 11:53 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016, at Hearth and Home in Van Wert.

He was born June 3, 1927, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of the Rev. Clifford and Pirly (Lewis) Conn, who both preceded him in death. On November 26, 1953, he married Winifred R. “Winnie” Conn, who died December 19, 2014.

Survivors include two sons, Michael A. (Beth) Conn and David B. (Lynda) Conn, both of Van Wert; a brother, Raymond (Arlene) Conn of Fort Wayne, Indiana; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A sister-in-law, Joan Conn, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 22, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Doug Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with graveside military honors rendered by combined units of American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, January 21, at the funeral home.
