Free Q & A session makes everyone happy

Both Van Wert Area Photography Club members and their guests left with a smile when their Question and Answer meeting concluded Jan. 14.  Members of the community who had such questions as: What does this button do?  How do I set the camera for different situations? What are some tips on taking a good picture? etc. were pleased with the responses that were given.  Some were also impressed with the fact that the session was free and they didn’t have to sit through a presentation to join the club.

Eric Miglin brought his wife, Caren, and daughter, Carissa, to the meeting.  Eric and Carissa had questions about their Sony cameras.  Andrea Schlueter has a Nikon camera and was particularly interested in a good lens for portrait work.  Jeremy Ellis wanted assistance in understanding how to set his Canon camera for specific situations.

Club members appreciated the favorable comments expressed by the guests before they left.  All club meetings are open to visitors and are held on the second Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at 114 S. Race St. That would make the next meeting on Feb. 11. Why not check us out?
