Lancer girls lose to Delphos St. John’s

The Lincolnview Lady Lancers fell to Delphos St. John’s 51-27 on Tuesday in a non-conference girls’ basketball game played on the Lancers’ home court.

The Lady Blue Jays got off to a fast start, outscoring Lincolnview 12-3 in the first quarter and adding an 18-6 run in the second stanza to lead by 21 points, 30-9, at the half. St. John’s upped its lead to 27 points, 43-16, at the three-quarter mark, but the Lancers outscored the Blue Jay reserves 11-8 to reduce the winning margin to 24 points.

Madilynn Schulte led the Blue Jays with 14 points, while Hayleigh Bacome added 13 points for St. John’s. Alena Looser was Lincolnview’s top scorer with 8 points, while Lakin Brant added 6 points for the Lady Lancers.
