Elaine K. Deaton

Elaine K. Deaton, 68, of Van Wert, died at 5:05 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born April 19, 1947, in Columbus, the daughter of Richard and Mildred Sudman, who both preceded her in death.

Family survivors include two sons, Rich W. (Sheri) Kline and Kurt A. (Angie) Kline, both of Ohio City; a brother, William “Bill” Sudman of St. Marys; four grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.

There will be no visitation.

Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor’s choice.
