Van Wert wrestling information WAPAKONETA — Van Wert High School varsity wrestlers traveled to Wapakoneta on Thursday and beat Shawnee 38-18, but lost to St. Mary’s 42-28. Winning for the Cougars were Isaiah Bretz (126 pounds), Andy Hammond (138 pounds), Trevor Spridgeon (152 pounds), Brody Couts (220 pounds) and Kaleb Cantrell (285 pounds).
