FORT JENNINGS — The Lincolnview Lady Lancers needed to play four quarters of good basketball, but only played one, losing to Fort Jennings 48-29 in a non-conference game played Monday night at Fort Jennings.

The Lady Musketeers took a nine-point lead, 13-4, in the first quarter, but Lincolnview rallied in the second quarter, outscoring Jennings 11-5 to trail by just three points, 18-15, at the half.

The second half was all Musketeers, though, as Fort Jennings went on a 30-14 second-half run for a 19-point victory.

Alena Looser led the Lady Lancers with 11 points, while Kylie Jettinghoff was the game’s top scorer with 12 points.

Lincolnview shot just 33 percent from the field (11 of 33) and was 2 of 10 from three-point range (20 percent). The Musketeers were 20 of 49 from the field (40 percent), while making 2 of 7 three-point attempts (28 percent).

The Lady Lancers were a perfect 5-of-5 from the line, while Jennings made 6 of 16 free throw attempts (37 percent).

The Musketeers outrebounded Lincolnview 14-10, but the name of the game was turnovers, as the Lancers lost the ball 31 times, versus 14 for Fort Jennings.
