Lois J. DuVall

Lois J. DuVall, 99, of Van Wert, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born November 9, 1916, in Liberty Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Archie and Josephine (Kline) Sutton, who both preceded her in death. On April 3, 1938, she married Raymond E. DuVall, who died May 23, 1997.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue (Jeff) Arn of Van Wert; two sons, Larry (Connie) DuVall and Robert (Marilyn) DuVall, both of Van Wert; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Darlene (Sutton) Galloway of Van Wert.

Two stepsisters, Thelma Stewart and Helen Thatcher, and a half-brother, Don Sutton, also preceded her in death.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 6, at Grace Bible Church in Van Wert, with Pastor Lance Hostetler officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Preferred memorials: Grace Bible Church, Gideons International, or Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
