MSVW replacing old downtown banners

The Main Street Van Wert (MSVW) Design Committee has designed a new set of lamppost banners that will line Main and Washington streets through downtown Van Wert beginning this spring.

The previous banners were unveiled in 2011 and displayed through the fall of 2015, but have become too deteriorated to hang again.

The new banners will be colorful and attractive, and will enhance the vibrant feeling that continues to grow within downtown. The new banners were designed by local business Real Cre8tive Graphic Design, and will be manufactured by Wilkinson Printing.

Local businesses and organizations have the opportunity to sponsor a banner for the 2016 season, on display from May through October, for $150. Each sponsor will be recognized with a two-sided flag at the bottom of the banner, highlighting the business, organization, or family name.
