County opposes Bender parole

The Van Wert County Board of Commissioners (from the left) Thad Lichtensteiger, Stan Owens, and Todd Wolfrum adopted a proclamation on Tuesday opposing efforts by convicted murderer Robin Bender to obtain a parole from prison. Bender was convicted of killing Louis Youngpeter and his son, Kenneth, at their residence near Delphos in Van Wert County in the 1970s.
