Germann featured in OSBA publication

COLUMBUS — Eric K. Germann, a northwest Ohio school board member and the Ohio School Boards Association’s (OSBA) 2016 president, is profiled in the latest issue of the association’s Journal magazine, a statewide publication.

The magazine highlights Germann’s efforts to turn opportunities into successes for student of the rural districts he serves — Lincolnview Local Schools and Vantage Career Center in Van Wert County (click here for a copy of the article).

On his local boards, Germann has served four terms as president at Lincolnview, worked to facilitate economic development and tax policy, and been the board’s representative on numerous committees.

Germann’s term as OSBA president runs until January 1, 2017. Among his duties are acting as association spokesperson, attending regional events, serving on a variety of committees, presiding over association meetings and serving as a representative to the National School Boards Association Delegate Assembly.

The official magazine of OSBA, the Journal is a statewide bimonthly publication featuring association activities, articles and reports of interest to Ohio’s public education leaders. The roughly 6,500 Journal subscribers include school board members, superintendents, treasurers, business officials, legislators, universities and the news media.
