VW man arraigned on drug-related counts

An arraignment was held Wednesday in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court on drug-related charges.

Brandon Story, 36, of Van Wert, entered a not guilty plea to one count each of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, and possession of heroin, a felony of the fourth degree.

Judge Martin Burchfield set a $50,000 cash bond, or electronically monitored house arrest, in the case, and scheduled a pretrial conference for 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 9.
