Penrod is a member of the Gospel Music Hall of Fame from his days as lead singer of the Gaither Vocal Band from 1994 to 2008. His unmistakable, rasp-tinged vocals led him to the top of the Gospel charts in his solo career, and his most recently acclaimed sophomore release, Hymns, debuted at No. 1 on the Nielsen SoundScan Southern Gospel retail chart, as well being as the top-selling southern Gospel album of 2012.

Penrod released an all-new collection of some of today’s most popular songs of worship on his 2014 album Worship. He used his unique talents to bring to life new renditions of both classic and contemporary songs, like “Shout to the Lord,” “Revelation Song,” “Victory in Jesus,” “You Never Let Go,” “10,000 Reasons” and more. Penrod also hosts the weekly show, “Gospel Music Showcase”, on Daystar Television.

Along with Penrod’s musical stylings, there will be a viewing of the short film Heaven, produced by the Billy Graham Evangelist Association.

Coyle will also share his testimony and story behind what he calls “My ‘Stroke’ of Luck,” as he recalls how Jesus made his life complete after suffering a stroke.

Tickets for this event are free and can be acquired through the Niswonger Box Office, noon-4 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning March 23.

The Niswonger Performing Arts Center is located at 10700 Ohio 118 on the south edge of Van Wert.
