Officers elected

The Van Wert County Youth Rabbit Club and Bunny Hoppers 4-H Rabbit Club recently elected officers for 2016.  Officers include (from the left) Madison Lamb, vice president; Chamberlynn Couts, health & safety; Brynn Mollenkopf, historian/reporter; Abbey Bradford, president; Allison Hauter, treasurer; and Alicia Rist, secretary. At the club’s first meeting, members studied the anatomy of rabbits. The next club meeting will be on Thursday, March 17, starting at 6:30 pm. The club meets at the fairgrounds and anyone interested in joining the club or just interested in rabbits is welcome. At the March 17 meeting, the club will study the different breeds of rabbits. As always, parents are invited to attend the meetings with their kids.
