Cina L. (Owens) Marquardt

Cina L. (Owens) Marquardt, 82, of Auburn, Indiana, died Thursday, March 3, 2016, at her home.

She was born May 24, 1933, in Van Wert, the daughter of Howard and Estella (Leonard) Owens, who both preceded her in death. She married Norman “Rex” Marquardt, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include six sons: Kyle (Rickey Chick) Marquardt of Tennessee, Kevin “Casey” Marquardt of Indiana, Kim (Kathy) Marquardt of South Carolina, Kelby “Chip” (Stephanie) Marquardt of Indiana, Earl (Judy) Marquardt of Ohio, Kelly Marquardt of Indiana; a former daughter-in-law, Rene Jansen of Indiana; one sister, Betty (Al) Miller of Van Wert; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A son, Kerry “Muggs” Marquardt; two sisters, Dorothy Van Horn and Opel Volman; and one brother, David Bowman, also preceded her in death.

Memorial calling will be held from2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 11, at Pinnington-McComb Funeral & Cremation Services in Auburn.

Local arrangements were handled by Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.
