Thomas E. Stocklin

Thomas E. Stocklin, 81, of Delphos, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.

He was born September 8, 1934, in Delphos, the son of Charles E. and Nellie (Martin) Stocklin, who both preceded him in death. On September 27, 1955, he married the former Carolyn L. Hile, who died January 22, 2015.

Survivors include three sons, Thomas Stocklin Jr. of Delphos, Greg Stocklin of Bryan, and Kevin Stocklin of Lakeview; two daughters, Deborah (Bruce) Denison of Cloverdale and Michelle Blackburn of Delphos; two sisters, Mary Katherine Kleman of Lima and Edna Kesler of Delphos; one brother, Kenneth (Dorothy) Stocklin Sr. of Delphos; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two brothers-in-law, Brady Odell of Virginia and Ron Coffelt of Delphos.

A daughter, Janice Stocklin; three brothers, Charles, Donald, and Robert Stocklin; eight sisters, Mildred Wiseman, Lucille Brinkman, Gertrude Thatcher, Joyce Coffelt, Rita Renner, Norma Deel, Nancy Stocklin, Mae Showler, Jeannie Brinkman, Jeanette Coil, and Joann Halliwill; a grandson, Matthew Stocklin; and two great-grandchildren, Kaydence Knippen and Andrew Knippen, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with Pastor David Howell officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday, March 11, at the funeral home.
