Hazel Felver

Hazel Felver, 96, of Van Wert, died at 8:05 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born June 24, 1919, in Ohio City, the daughter of Charles Harold and Iva Myrtle (Rickard) Sutton, who both preceded her in death. On August 6, 1938, she married Maxville Orren Felver, who died March 22, 1993.

Family survivors include a brother, Daniel (Maxine) Sutton of Lima; and two sisters, Janice Agler of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Joanna Davis of Kokomo, Indiana.

Three brothers, Earl, Gerald and Aaron Sutton; and four sisters, Leota Sutton, Dorothy Dobbs, Opal Bursley, and Pauline Jones, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Terry Brock and David Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
