Gordon T. Morgan

Gordon T. Morgan, 90 of Van Wert, died at 12:13 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

He was born March 6, 1926, in Wetzel, the son of Evan Telford and Edith (McGinnis) Morgan, who both preceded him in death. On October 12, 1947, he married the former Charlotte Eloise Black at First United Methodist Church in Van Wert. She passed away April 16, 2014.

Survivors include a son, T. “Kim” Morgan; one brother, Roger Morgan of Manchester, Connecticut; two sisters, Marilyn Butler of Van Wert and Janice (Michael) Spray of Van Wert; a stepbrother, Rolland (Carolyn) Custer of Florida; one stepsister, Lois (Franklin) Clutter of Rockford; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be graveside funeral services at 11 a.m., Monday, March 28, at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

There will be no visitation.

Preferred memorials are to Salem Presbyterian Church in Venedocia.
