Easter Egg, Bone hunts held

The Van Wert Parks & Recreation Department hosted the city’s annual Easter Egg Hunt (above) on Saturday morning at Smiley Park. Youngsters were divided into age groups and had the chance to hunt for Easter eggs placed on the park’s ball diamonds. Also Saturday, the Van Wert County Humane Society held an Easter Bone Hunt at Smiley Park for dog owners and their pets (below). (photos by Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
