Marian Rose ‘Sis’ Metzner

Marian Rose “Sis” Metzner, 61, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born October 2, 1954, in Lima, the daughter of John and Joan (Deters) Metzner, who both survive in Delphos.

Other survivors include three brothers, John “Jay” (Deb Oney) Metzner III, Joseph “Tim” (Barb) Metzner, and Michael (Cynthia) Metzner, all of Delphos; four sisters, Celeste (Keith) Bushnell of England, Paula Dinkins of Ottoville, Ann (Maurice) Chung of Lima, and Julie (Dan Jr.) Dalton of Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Two sisters, Mary Jo and Mary Catherine “Casey” Metzner, preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos. Burial will follow the mass in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the church.

Preferred memorials: Delphos St. John’s Scholarship Fund or the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
