Ruby M. Agler

Ruby M. Agler, 95, of Van Wert, died at 11:45 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2016, at Hearth & Home in Van Wert.

She was born May 26, 1920, in Union City, Indiana, the daughter of William Henry and Eva (Barger) Lotz, who both preceded her in death. On January 23, 1943, she married Donald V. Agler, who died February 19, 1993.

Survivors include two children, David M. (Marilyn) Agler and Leanna J. (Dean) Bell, both of Van Wert; seven grandchildren, Cayle (Dawn) Agler, Ryan Agler, Tiffany (Eric) Eggert, Todd (Tanya) Bell, Heather Klausing, Meghan Bell, and Brock Bell; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Lester Lotz and Glenn Lotz; and a grandchild, Derek Bell, also preceded her in death.

Ruby retired from Montgomery Ward in Van Wert and had also worked at the former Western Auto store in Van Wert. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Van Wert.

Private family funeral services will be conducted. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

There will be no visitation.

Preferred memorials: Donor’s choice.
