Brumback Library joins libraries in schools, campuses, and communities throughout the United States as they celebrate the dynamic changes that are taking place in today’s libraries. Libraries of all types are evolving to meet the needs of the communities they serve. Today, libraries are creative and engaging life-long centers of learning where patrons can discover new technologies, participate in a special program, or simply read and relax with a newspaper, a magazine, or a good book.

In keeping with the American Library Association’s theme, libraries, literally and figuratively, transform lives.

“Service to the community has always been the focus of our library,” said Brumback Library Director John Carr. “We serve over 28,000 registered Van Wert County residents of all ages, as well as students and the public at large, as they pursue a myriad of research, informational, and recreational needs. The resources, services, and programming efforts that we provide are well used.”
