Lawrence E. Hart

Lawrence E. Hart, 76, of Middle Point, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born January 18, 1940, in Convoy, to Carl and Mildred Hart, who both preceded him in death. On September 24, 1960, to the former Marion Moore, his wife of 55 years, who survives in Middle Point.

Other survivors include two daughters, Bobbie (Butch) Kemp of Rockford and Jennifer (Randall) Hattery of Lima; two sons, Ted (Lisa) Hart of Schreve and Scott Hart of Middle Point; a sister, Lorene Agler of Van Wert; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A son, Todd Hart; one grandson, Tyler Hart; five brothers; and one sister, also preceded him in death.

Lawrence had retired from General Dynamics (tank plant) in Lima after many years of service. He loved to garden and was an avid tinkerer in the garage. He was also an avid sports fan, especially the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Lincolnview Lancers.

All services will be private at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos.
