Wind farm payment

Dan Litchfield of Iberdrola Renewables (above) presented a check for more than $400,000 to Lincolnview Local Schools on Monday as its 2016 PILOT (payment in lieu of taxes) contribution to the district. Lincolnview Superintendent Jeff Snyder talked about the impact the money has on the district, while the school’s Quiz Bowl team (below) competed with a team that included State Senator Cliff Hite, Van Wert County Deputy Auditor Jamie Bradford, Union Township Trustee William Dowler, and Lu Cook, Governor John Kasich’s Northwest Ohio Region liaison.
