Leila Annette (Wortman) Brown

Leila Annette (Wortman) Brown of Van Wert, died at 9:12 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in Van Wert.

She was born December 3, 1941, in Van Wert, the daughter of B. Irene (McClure) Wortman, who survives in Van Wert, and Cleo Wortman, who preceded her in death. She married Thomas C. Brown, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. Thomas L. (Denise) Brown of Beavercreek and Donald L. Brown of Van Wert; two brothers, John (Phyllis) Wortman and Denzil (Kaulene) Wortman, both of Van Wert; a sister-in-law, Gloria Wortman of Auburn, Indiana; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A brother, Keith Wortman, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Bud Walls officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 15, at the funeral home.
