Ford Motor Company and its dealers are working together to benefit communities nationwide. Drive 4UR Community, designed to raise much needed funding for local community groups and non-profit organizations, is very similar in concept to Ford’s successful Drive 4UR School initiative.
To date, Ford dealerships across the United States have helped raise more than $30 million for local schools and non-profits thanks to their hard work and partnership with the Drive 4UR School and Drive 4UR Community programs.
Statewide Ford Lincoln is bringing the Drive 4UR Community to the Van Wert community in an effort to help raise as much as $6,000 for Disabled American Veterans Chapter 54. For every person who takes the wheel and test-drives a new Ford vehicle at Van Wert High School on Saturday, April 23, Ford will donate $20 to the DAV.
“We know funding for non-profits to hard to come by,” said Statewide Ford Lincoln General Manager Steve Munroe. “We’re excited to see how much money we can raise for the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 54.”
The event will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. this Saturday at Van Wert High School. Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test drive per household. Test drives will be taken in the VWHS parking lot.
