Crestview softball team defeats Belmont

CONVOY — The Crestview Lady Knight softball team downed Belmont, Indiana, 5-2 in a non-conference game played Tuesday.

The winning pitcher for the Knights was Tiff Weaver, while closer Jada Preston, who struck out three, got the save.

Offensively, Tianna Rager and Avery McCoy both had triples, while Sydney Bowen added a double to Crestview’s 10 game hits.

The Knights will play today at Wayne Trace.
