Beverly A. Barker

Beverly A. Barker, 61, of Grover Hill, died at 1:10 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.

She was born March 3, 1955, in Paulding, the daughter of Verlin and M. Irene (Bidlack) Blythe, who both preceded her in death. She married Roger Barker, who survives in Grover Hill.

Other survivors include three children, Matthew (Tina Bezaire) Medford of Windsor, Ontario, Mark (Candice) Medford of Van Wert, and Angela (Willie) Bellmann of Lima; three stepchildren, Leslie (Dan) Miller of Convoy, Lindsey (Aaron) Timm of Payne, and Bradley (Danielle) Barker of Antwerp; and 11 grandchildren, Mason, Kyleigh, Raegan, Jordan, Sara, Allie, Morgan, Gage, Mallory, Zachary, and Lauren, and one grandchild on the way.

Beverly was a retired bookkeeper for Braun Industries in Van Wert. She was a member of Middle Creek United Methodist Church in Grover Hill.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at Middle Creek United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Eileen Kochensparger officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery near Grover Hill.

Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.

Preferred memorials: Grover Hill Food Pantry or Gideons International.
