United Way to have Fiesta Reverse Raffle

United Way of Van Wert County Fiesta Fun Friday Reverse Raffle will be held Friday, May 6, at Willow Bend Country Club.

The winner of the raffle will walk away with $1,000 cash. Area residents won’t want to miss this fun and festive event. Ticket prices for the evening are $35 for singles or $60 per couple. Ticket price includes a variety of Mexican appetizers, one drink, and one entry into the grand prize drawing of $1,000.

The Fiesta Reverse Raffle starts at 5:30 p.m., with the first ticket drawn at 6:30 that evening, and will continue until the last ticket remains.

Other activities include live auctions for additional tickets into the raffle and plenty of side games for additional cash prizes and entries into the raffle. Mike Schlagbaum will be the emcee for the night’s event. Plan to “come as you are”, with casual attire for the evening.

There are a limited number of tickets left. Tickets can be purchased at the United Way office at 1151 Westwood Drive, contacting the United Way at 419.238.6689, emailing unitedway109@gmail.com, or by contacting any United Way board member.
