Isabelle Rose Markward

Isabelle Rose Markward, 86, of Delphos, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.

She was born January 7, 1930, in Putnam County, the daughter of August and Pauline C. (Flatz) Rellinger, who both preceded her in death. On November 13, 1954, she married Donald F. Markward, who survives in Delphos.

Other survivors include two sons, Philip John (Mary) Markward of The Villages, Florida, and Charles A. Markward of Lima; a brother, Paul Rellinger; and one sister, Lucina Donaldson.

Three sisters, Adellade Smith, Mary Metzger, and Amelda Stechschulte; four brothers, Karl Rellinger, Oscar Rellinger, John Rellinger, and Arthur Rellinger; and a sister-in-law, Doris Rellinger, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, May 16, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with Father Dennis Walsh officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.

Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, May 15, with a parish wake at 7:30 that evening, as well as an hour prior to services on Monday, at the funeral home.
