VW Parks Dept. offering soccer camp

The Van Wert Parks Department and Challenger Sports will be hosting a soccer camp from July 25-29 at the Rotary Athletic Complex on John Brown Road.

The camp will be offered for all kids ages 3-18. Each camp will feature the 1,000 Touches curriculum, which is packed with drills and practices designed to improve individual ball control, foot skills, fakes, moves, juggling, and core techniques.

Each camper will receive a free ball and t-shirt, while those who register by June 20 will receive a free jersey. Area youngsters can register on The Challenger Sports website, www.challengersports.com. There is also more information about the camp and prices on the Van Wert Parks website.
