New store opens in VW

After 27 years of working from home and her car, Joanne Thatcher now has a store in downtown Van Wert. Thatcher cut the ribbon on her new store, Elite Interiors, on Thursday. Elite Interiors offers a variety of interior decorating options, including custom window treatments, furniture, and flooring at a reasonable price. Hours for the new store, 103 W. Main St., are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Fridays; and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday. (Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
