Destiny Rayne Kennedy

Destiny Rayne Kennedy passed away in the arms of her mother at 10:28 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center after a 20-month battle with DIPG.

She was born November 2, 2010, in Van Wert, the daughter of Stacie Stahl of Van Wert and Jeffrey Kennedy of Haviland.

Other survivors include two brothers, Braxton Stahl at home and Jaycee Kennedy of Van Wert; grandparents Brian L. and Sandy Stahl of Dyersburg, Tennessee, and Deb Kennedy; great-grandparents Kenneth and Joan Stahl and Peg Schwartz; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Kingsley United Methodist Church in rural Van Wert County, with Pastor Gary Ginter officiating.

Visitation is from 9 a.m.-noon at the church.
