Carolyn R. Wiechart

Carolyn R. Wiechart, 86, of Delphos, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Sarah Jane Living Center in Delphos.

She was born June 11, 1929, in Delphos, to Elmer and Mary (Rupert) Dray, who both preceded her in death. She married Clarence “Cubbie” Wiechart, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Charles (Donna) German and William (Marilee) German, both of Delphos; five daughters, Debra (Larry) Zimmerman of Pennsylvania, Mary (Frank) Sanchez of od Delphos, Susanne Schwinnen of Landeck, Patricia (Ben) Boyer of Delphos, and Julianne (Tom) Siefker of Elida; two stepsons, Charles (Becky) Wiechart of Delphos and Jack (Jean) Wiechart of Dayton; a stepdaughter, Judy Cafmeyer of Columbus; a stepdaughter-in-law, Teri Wiechart of Columbus; one brother, John (Mary Ann) Dray of Delphos; a sister, Romaine Pavel of Delphos; 20 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

A son, John German; five brothers, David, Walter, Gene, Harold, and Jim Dray; four sisters, infant sisters Charlotte and Rosemary Dray, Lillian Morvay, and Marge Hummer; one stepson, Paul Wiechart; a grandson, Eric Sanchez; and one son-in-law, Gary Schwinnen.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.

Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, June 4, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
