Leah Suzanne Emrick

Leah Suzanne Emrick, 25, passed away after a courageous 17-month battle with brain cancer.

Leah is survived by her parents, Tim and Suzie (Keipper) Emrick. Other survivors include the two loves of her life, her daughters Evelyn Grace Lautzenheiser and Hope Suzanne Lautzenheiser; a sister, Christy (Shaun) Kenne of Castalia; grandmothers Ann Keipper of Van Wert and Peg Emrick of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida; a niece, Raina; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Leah was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert Keipper and Bill Emrick; and her uncle, Pat Keipper.

Prior to Leah’s illness, she worked at Marsh Supermarket.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Visitation is from noon-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
