Cathy S. Ebel

Cathy S. Ebel, 62, of Convoy, passed away at 3:55 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.

She was born September 24, 1953, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Howard Presar, who preceded her in death, and Barbara (Quisno) Presar, who survives in Van Wert. On November 24, 1973, she married Earl Erick “JR” Ebel Jr., who survives in Convoy.

Survivors include two children, Nikki Ebel of Van Wert and Erick Earl Ebel of Angola, Indiana; two sisters, Debbie (Tony) Steinmetz of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Julie Quinn of Chico, California; three grandchildren, Jordan Streeter, Travis Swartzfager, and Chanse Ebel; and two great-grandchildren, Landyn and Logan.

Cathy retired from Parker Hannifin Corporation in New Haven, Indiana.

There will be no funeral services.

Visitation is from 3-6 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.
