Stoller headed for Lourdes

Stoller signs LOI for Lourdes 6-2016

Van Wert High School grad and athletic standout Ryan Stoller signs his letter of intent Wednesday to play baseball for Lourdes University in Sylvania. Stoller, a first-team all-Western Buckeye League pick in baseball and football, an All-Ohio honorable mention in both sports, and MVP of the 2015 State Acme Tournament. This past season, he compiled a .406 batting average, as well as a .517 on-base percentage, while playing for the Cougar baseball team. He also had 18 RBI and 27 runs scored. As a pitcher, Stoller was 4-1, with a 1.32 ERA in 37 innings pitched. Stoller, shown here with his family and coaches, said he felt Lourdes’ small-school atmosphere was a big draw for him.
