The votes have been tallied and the People’s Choice Awards winners for the Old Fashioned Farmers Days Quilt and Needle Arts Show are as follows:

Favorite Hand Quilted Bed Quilt – Lisa Merkle of Middle Point, “Cross Stitch Sampler”

Favorite Machine Quilted Bed Quilt – Joyce Grossheim of Van Wert, “Patriotism”

Favorite Antique Quilt – Beck Craft of Paulding, “Double Wedding Ring”

Favorite Wall Hanging – Jill Carrier of Convoy, “Sewing Machine”

Favorite Crib Quilt – Eldonna Wagonrod of Ohio City, “Cross-Stitched Chickens”

Favorite Needle Art – Carol Greulach of Van Wert, “Snowman Tree Skirt”

Open show entries were received from a total of five counties in Ohio and Indiana. The show was hosted by members of the Van Wert Neighborhood Group of the American Sewing Guild and the Old Fashioned Farmers Association.
