Michael Jay Saam

Michael Jay Saam, 60, of Findlay and formerly of Ohio City, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, July 1, 2016.

He was born March 3, 1956. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Saam.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Kelly (Warren) Straley; his mother, Nancy Saam; a brother, Mitch (Cuiping) Saam; one sister, Brenda Beltz; and many others of his family.

He served in the U.S. Navy Reserves, retired from Kennedy Manufacturing Company in Van Wert, and enjoyed spending time outdoors with his beloved dog, Babe.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, at St. Paul’s Reformed Church in Ohio City.
