Local YWCA raffling off 1-carat diamond
VW independent/submitted information
The YWCA of Van Wert County will be selling 100 tickets at $100 a ticket for the chance to win a one-carat diamond. This is one of many events that will be taking place over the next few months to kick off the YWCA’s 100-year anniversary.
Laudick’s Jewelry has donated a one-carat round diamond that will help raise funds for all the programs the YWCA offers.
At the YWCA, the organization sets out each day to provide the best possible service to everyone who not only walks through the doors, but also to those that reside in its housing programs and participate in its youth programming, aquatic facility, and 24/7 fitness center.
The YWCA believes that by providing services to the community members of Van Wert, it in turn helps the community of Van Wert as a whole.
As longtime pillars of the community, Laudick’s Jewelry (66 years of business) and the YWCA 100 years remain committed to serving Van Wert and surrounding areas.
Tickets can be purchased through the YWCA or a YWCA Board member. Call the YWCA with any questions at 419.238.6639.
The YWCA is a United Way and Van Wert County Foundation funded agency.
