The Niswonger takes another step toward the premier of the “Ten Years of Wow” season with the individual release of two more events.
The first event releases today and brings jazz to the Niswonger on Saturday, September 24, at 7:30 p.m. with Jonathan Butler and Gerald Albright.

This acclaimed jazz duo is presented by Chuck and Karen Koch, along with Jim and Theresa Robideau.
Releasing the following day on Wednesday, July 20, is “Happy Days LIVE!” presented by Dr. Kevin Laing, DDS, on Saturday, October 1, at 7:30 p.m.

Ever since boyhood, Jonathan Butler has been using his gifts of song, composition, and instrumentation to communicate the messages of his soul. His soaring, gritty, but beautiful, voice transports listeners to deeper realms both emotionally and spiritually.
Couple Butler’s mass appeal with saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Gerald Albright, one of the biggest stars of R&B, contemporary, and straight-ahead jazz, one of the genre’s most compelling and consistent artists.
Albright has earned the reputation as a “musician’s musician.” His signature searing and soulful sax lines coupled with his ebullient tenor, baritone and soprano saxophone arrangements give him a compelling stage presence.
These days are ours, happy and free, with “Happy Days Live!” at the Niswonger! Take a trip down memory lane with Potsie and Ralph as they celebrate the show’s 40th anniversary! Anson Williams and Donny Most will be sharing some of their favorite moments from the “Happy Days” television show, along with rare photos, live music, and never before seen home videos.
They will also share reminiscences of their coming-of-age experiences on the show, followed by a question-and-answer session that gives audience members the opportunity to ask questions of their very own.
Questions such as: “Is it true that the character of Ralph Malph was specifically created for Don Most?” Laugh your way back with this “Happy Days” experience and get the inside scoop on what made this show the cultural icon of its day.
Think these events are great? The Niswonger is just getting started.
Supporting sponsorship for Jonathan Butler and Gerald Albright is provided by the Rex and Bev Fortney family. “Happy Days LIVE!” supporting sponsor is First Federal Savings & Loan.
Tickets for these events will be available individually on their release date at noon online at NPACVW.ORG or by phone at 419.238.6722. The Box Office is open Tuesday through Friday, from noon-4 p.m.
The Niswonger Performing Arts Center is located at 10700 State Route 118 on the south edge of Van Wert.
