Discounted fair ride bands now on sale

Ride bands for the 160th Van Wert County Fair, August 31-September 5, are now on sale for $10 until Saturday, July 30, at noon.

The cost for ride bands increases to $13 from August 1-27, then to $16 during the fair.

Season/membership tickets are $22 each, while people can also purchase any grandstand event tickets online at www.vanwertcountyfair.com.

To purchase ride bands and tickets, do so in the Fair Office, 1055 S. Washington St. in Van Wert. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m.-noon on Saturdays (closed Sundays). Use the Balyeat Street/North Gate entrance to enter the fairgrounds.
