National Night Out

The Van Wert Red Cross Disaster Team joined Delphos’s team on National Night Out. The night was for emergency responders to join together so the community can meet and socialize with them. The night appeared to be a big success, as community members also got to enjoy blow-up bouncy toys, food, drinks, door prices, a DJ, and free swimming at the Delphos pool. “This was a great idea,” said Mark Klausing, Van Wert Disaster Team leader “It was so nice to meet and talk to the community in a relaxed atmosphere. Emergency responders and Red Cross have been so busy lately, this was a great relief for us.” (photo submitted)
