Outdoorsmen to have shooting match

The Van Wert County Outdoorsmen Association will be hosting a Modern Military Match on Saturday, August 20, starting at 9:30 a.m.

Those participating may use any modern military rifle for this match, while rifles may have iron sights, electronic sights, or a scope. The club has M-1 Garands and an AR rifle for those who need to borrow a weapon.

The fee for the match is $4 and the club has 30.06 and .223 ammunition for those who need to purchase some to participate in the match.
