It’s football time!

Fall — and football — is just around the corner with the beginning of local grid scrimmages. The Cougars played a scrimmage (above) Tuesday evening against Parkway at Eggerss Stadium. The season will begin for Van Wert at home on Friday, August 26, against the Bryan Golden Bears. (Scott Truxell for the Van Wert independent)
